Stupid Patent Application of the Week

I’ll have to start a new category for this I think – perhaps the “We know better than you, even though we’re stupid”

I thought this was some kind of joke to begin with…. alas not!

The United States’ largest mobile phone network Cingular this week applied to patent on emoticons, better known as smileys.
