This month’s quote is from English novelist and playwright D.H Lawrence. Born in 1885, Lawrence was a controversial author who looked at the effects of industrialism on “normal” people. He’s more well known for his “racier” novels such as Lady Chatterly’s LoverLawrence was a controversial figure who did not get on well with the establishment and fought tooth and nail over the censorship of his most famous work.
